My only comment is to carp that our worsers [definitely NOT our betters!] in Ottawa and Victoria and in the various native communities who actively oppose a pipeline will simply not be sensible in this matter. All in all, it seems to me that the Alaska route that you mention should be actively pursued NOW.

Good article! The tanker ban has always been a political nonsense with US tankers from Alaska & Saudi tankers going to Quebec.
