Compare this style of journalism, to that of The Line.
Jen Gerson’s obsequious coverage of the Prime Minister’s speech included the dandy “…….. while not quite Churchillian…”, and the usual unrepeatable expletives, of course.
I spat out my coffee while driving.
I encourage others to listen to The Line’s latest offering, and then reread this brilliant article; there is simply no comparison.
Mark Carney is famous for saying one thing to one group, and quite another thing to other groups.
If Albertans vote no to the questions on Monday, that is their right, but I also expect the opportunity to take its place in the Federation will have been squandered.
Marco, great article, sir, and I am so much better informed for having consumed this stellar Canadian journalism.
“Jason Kenney, who is campaigning for the same side as Carney, was quoted this week saying that evidence of progress with Ottawa may diminish separatist support. He meant it kindly. Hear it the way an Albertan hears it. Progress is what Ottawa produces when it needs to manage a problem, and the size of the problem determines the size of the progress.”

70% are voting to stay. This means that 30% of Albertans did not comply with completing Canada's Census, as you should not fill out a census in a country that you do not belong to. That would send a message.
Now, be honest. How many Separatists complied with Canadas order to complete its census?

Already voted, yes to option 2, yes to the nine
